Shaping Meaning

The semesters journey through shapping meaning will guide us in creating lesson plans focused around silhouettes and how we feel they shape meaning.

This lesson that I have created will discuss silhouettes and how "captures sequences of human movements in space and time." I have used 'Body of the Motions' work by Peter Jansen and Norman McLaren 's Pas de Deux to set a visual standard for the students. Through the introduction of these works students will be inspired to create composited silhouette representing a series of motions. Fulfilling Jansen's idea objects of these natural "captures sequences of human movements in space and time".
